Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.......its not a review

A cinematic journey,an emotional retreat, a spiritual sojourn -that is Bhaag Milkha Bhaag for you.We all have heard about #Milkha singh (or have we not?) but here was a story ready to be told,to be narrated for whom Life's biggest problems start with a job hunt and end upon heartbreaks .Milkha Singh's story certainly is the one we should look upon. It has everything. Pain of losing a family, the backdrop of partition, the determination to win the one you love and a dream. Throw it all together with the added drama of India vs Pakistan and you have one of the most neglected sports stories of the century
Even if you lack the faintest interest in sports ,this movie will draw you closer for life’s simplest pleasures and the dedication &zeal to achieve that ,for instance that blazer which said ”India”
Milkha Singh deserved to be told for in a newly independent India ,he was one among the very few who made the nation sing” Saare Jahan se achha ,hindustaan humara”
Coming to the film, Farhan Akhtar is at his exemplary best .He has put in a hell of efforts and it definitely shows ,supported by a power packed supporting cast this is a movie you can’t dare to give a miss
Go watch Bhaag Milkha Bhaag  for it triumphs in its depiction of a man coming to terms with the ugliest scenes from his childhood, witnessing his parents’ slaughter during the Partition of India and Pakistan in 1947 and the resultant genocide, and rebuilding his life to become an Indian icon
Who knows you may stop complaining about those little discomforts that life throws on your way

  1. This is not really a movie, but a story. Watch it to learn more about those days, and about how people managed to live without essentials such as beds, toilets, cooking stoves, electricity, running water and hot water. The movie is relevant in 2013, especially for us young ones.
Some say its anti-Pakistan, but if your family was hacked in a country quite naturally you wont go there and if you do, you will atleast feel like doing something amazing.
